Why is it important to have frequent laser hair removal sessions every 4-5 weeks?

It is important to consider the spacing of your bookings to ensure the treatment is as effective as possible. If you leave too long or too short a gap between appointments, you may find the the treatment is less effective than if the treatments are spaced correctly.

Laser hair removal works by damaging hair roots and bulbs when they are in the Anagen phase of growth. Hair that is in the Catagen or Telogen phase of growth will not normally be effected by the laser treatment. For most people, roughly 10-15% of the hair in any particular area will be at Anagen phase at any time.

What’s the difference between physical sunscreen vs chemical sunscreen?

Chemical sunscreen absorbs into the skin and then absorbs UV rays, converts the rays into heat, and releases them from the body. The active ingredients in chemical sunscreens include avobenzone, octinoxate and oxybenzone.

Physical sunblock sits on top of the skin and reflects the sun’s rays. The minerals titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are the main active ingredients in physical blocks.
